Color Scheme

Color schemes and the mixing of colors are very important to every day life. On football uniforms color scheme is very important. This is modeled in the Denver Broncos' uniforms. Their colors are blue and orange. Those two colors are complimentary. The colors that create orange are red and yellow. The colors that combine to make green are yellow and blue. The two colors that crate purple are blue and red. Tints are lightened colors demonstrated by white+color=tint. Shades are darkened colors demonstrated by color+black=shade. Neutral colors are colors that have equal parts of each primary color. Black, white, gray, and sometimes brown are neutral colors. There are three main types of color schemes.

1. Analogus: The colors that are adjacent to each other on the color wheel.
Example: www.nfl.com
2. Complementary: The colors are opposite each other on the color wheel.
Example: www.blogger.com
3. Monochromatic: There is one color just different shades of it.
Example: www.apple.com

On The Cutting Edge

1. The RFP in being requested by the CEO of a major company.
2. He called a meeting in the zone because he needed to show the CEO that Eye Site could handle the job.
3. We will give the CEO a description of the perfect website and a design grid.
4 . You should get your team to describe what a perfect web site is to them. Then you should write down these ideas on a list and try to over come any disagreements.
5. The words mean different things to everyone what is "cool" to you might not be "cool" to the CEO.
6. The CEO wants a description of the perfect website. The team will achieve this by creating a design grid which is a chart with the description.
